做空股票当投资者预判某只股票目前的价格高估的时候，可以向某个金融机构或者券商借这只股票进行出售，借时会约定期限多少天后进行归还。

做空和做多是相反的，一般正规的做空市场有一个中立仓提供借货平台。做空机制是强者的游戏，作为股票市场的弱势群体，如果没有法律和制度的保护，中小投资者参与到做空中是极易掌控不到位资金将受到损失。
