1、观察股票近3个月的走势，尤其是近1个月左右时间股票大阳线和成交量的多少。有的股票大阳线比较多，大阴线比较少，大阳线放量，阴线缩量，说明短线游资参与度很高，容易短线大涨。

2.、观察股票近期以及远期涨停板数量的情况，涨停板的多少直接代表了股票活跃度以及成为牛股的可能。这样做的目的是辨别这个股票是持续活跃还是近期突然活跃。如果是持续活跃，一般都有长期的题材可以炒作，并且一旦上涨，则容易出现大涨。而近期突然活跃的个股，对于他们炒作的持续性，则需要观察。

3. 观察股票近期一段时间的K线饱和度，意思就是说上下影线的多少以及长短。真正强势的个股，短线具有涨停爆发能力的个股，一般近期K线的影线会比较少，走势会比较果断，成为牛股的可能性更高。而那种引线很多的，比较长的，说明资金分歧较大或者主力资金控盘能力不足。
