半年报是上市公司按每一个会计年度的上半年财务报表。半年报包括描述公司经营状况，以及资产负债表、现金流量表、损益表等的会计报表。根据证监会发布的《上市公司信息披露管理办法》第十九条、第二十二条规定：半年报的披露时间为每年的7月1日至8月30日；深交所规定对于业绩预增的公司，必须要在7月15日前披露。

年报全称是公司年度财务报表。报表内容有公司经营状况，公司一年内的负债和收入情况。年报包含主营业务收入、毛利、营业利润、净利润的增长率，资产负债表等。

根据规定年度报告应当在每个会计年度结束之日起4个月内编制完成并披露。比如说：2021年的年报，必须在2022年4月份以前公布。一般大多数公司的年报都会在来年的2月或3月的样子公布。
