股权稀释最常见的方式就是上市公司增发股票，增发股票会扩大股本，所有者权益减少，所以对持股股东来说是利空的。但如果是定向增发，且引进的优质资产，则增发过后，股价有望上涨，中长期来说取决于公司的基本面及盈利情况。

短期股权稀释会降低单位股利暂时性下降，而如果是长期股权稀释，则单位股利会永久性地下降。股权稀释后期，对上市公司的控股股东，大股东来说有一定的好处，比如说定向增发，因为他们的成本低，所以未来股价上涨他们再卖出，就能实现盈利。
