目前国内的商品期货单月合约一般都是一年，也就是12个月，如果上市的时间就，则时间可能会超过12个月，另外如果是主连期货，则由于不是合约，所以只要产品单月合约一直在交易，那么主连期货就一直存在。打个比方：沪银2210的合约，意思就是2022年10月到期的合约，如果这个合约在2021年9月就开始交易，那么存续期就有13个月，如果在2021年10月开始交易的，则该合约的存续期就只有12个月。

如果是主连合约，比如沪银主连，该期货是参考用的，并不能交易，只要沪银单月的期货在持续交易，沪银主连的期货就会一直存在。主连就是将期货主力月份的走势编制在一起，供投资者参考后市走势。

期货合约的日期一般都是固定的，投资者可以在期货品种简介上面看到，如果合约即将到期，那么就最好平仓，没有平仓可能需要进行实物交割。
