股票流通市值就是指可流通股票的市值，流通市值=流通股本×股价，因为上市公司发行的股本中有一部分是限售股，限售股不能流通，所以这部分计算在总股本中，但是不算做流通股本，因此流通市值会比总市值小。

比如说：目前某只股票的总股本有183亿，股价为72元，那么总市值就为：183亿×72元=13176亿。而日中有20亿的股本为限售股，那么流通市值就等于163亿×72元=11736亿元。
